Since 2005, Screentech have been developing a range
of Led lighting products for Commercial and domestic applications,
working with the leading Japanese LED chips suppliers
we have been able to develop a range of LED lighting products
which we believe are leading edge technology for street
lighting, commercial building and household lighting.
LEDs offer many compelling advantages over other lighting
solutions Screentechs NEW Lighting division "Ecolight
Systems" product range has grown rapidly
due to our commitment to further R&D. These new products
are now commercialised and marketing strategies are being
finalised.
With the recent announcement in Feb 2007 by the Australian
Federal Government that all the traditional light bulbs
will be banned after 2010, we believe that LED and CFL
will become the major light source for both domestic and
commercial market. LED lighting is classified as a "Green"
product and it is widely accepted by most countries. Energy
Saving has become a hot topic and LED and CFL Lighting
will be a growth market in the coming years
In 2006, Screentech was selected to supply and install
all the LED Advertising light boxes in Singapore's Changi
International Airport. It is the world biggest project
using LED as the light source to replace fluorescent tubes.
These LED lights contain no mercury or lead and have a
life expectancy of more than 5 years.
