Screentech is proud to announce in September
2003 the installation of its first LED video scoreboard
display in a stadium in Central Europe, in Liberec (near
Prague) in the CZECH REPUBLIC.
This board is 7.2 meters wide x 4.8m
high, installed on a concrete base,at about 5 meters height.
It has a resolution of 288 x 192 pixels, with a pixel
pitch of 25mm, and a brightness of 5000 Nits. (Model ST211-25)
The screen dimensions used for this
15000 seats stadium is ideal and can be seen in direct
sunlight.

Screentech, with its affiliation with
Matsushita Electric Co. (Panasonic) can now provide the
SAME quality LED product FOR LESS, although benefiting
from their manufacturing experience and technical support.
Panasonic Led screen components have
been used in sport stadiums screens worldwide.
There Quality, Reliability and Support
for their components are second to none.
Soccer Stadium applications consist of
a video display board used to transmit live events, play
advertisements, display scores and general information.
On the side, an analog clock displays
actual time, and a digital display shows time in play,
and permanent scores.
A typical stadium video display board
measures 8 x 6m or 12 x 6m, and with the clock option
the displays measure:11 x 6m and 16 x 6m plus the frame.
Digital Banner Screens could also be
used as "border" or "perimeter" advertising
panels or banners (80x480cm) replacing static or scrolling
billboards around the stadium for an increased advertising
revenue.
As general specifications, LED pixels
pitch should not exceed 25mm. and viewing angle must be
140* horizontally and 50* vertically.
Control rooms can be located up to 300m
away (900ft) using fibre optic cables.
